Acura Tsx Wagon

A Commentary of the New 'Sport Wagon'
I’ve always loved those sporty mom-wagons. Even better, I’ve always loved the luxury brand ones. Audi, Mercedes, and BMW have made some infamous ones. I’m all about the autobahn, but I still can’t come to think it’s practical buying any kind of German car, unless it’s an M3, S4, or AMG. Those might be the only that are worth the $150 oil change. So here it is; good job Honda. The Acura TSX Sport Wagon is a nice leather-coated sonofabitch. It’s only got a 4cyl, so it’s efficient, but they’ve somehow squeezed out over 200hp (201 to be exact), so yes, it is ‘sporty’.
All the class of a German car, and all the practicality of something not made by the Nazis. And according to the websites, there are no scheduled tune-ups until more than 100,000 miles are on your car. That means you can travel across the entire continental US 33 times before even having to think about something going wrong.
Unfortunately, I can’t find an AWD option, and if anyone even remotely follows me, you know that I believe heavily in the AWD. And why not? That’s totally the market for this kind of vehicle. Smart, simple, practical . Maybe Acura missed that last part of the ‘practical’ memo. Like I say at almost all of the conclusions of these reviews however, it’s new. There’s still time for Acura to correct their suck, and they should. The only thing that would stop me from purchasing a Subaru over this is the complete disgusting look of the current generation of Outbacks. However, if all four wheels were on the ground at once, I wouldn’t hesitate to drop an extra 5k to pick up this classy little mommy chassis. And yeah that’s right, this thing is only 5,000 dollars more than a Subaru Outback. Acura is great for having vehicles that are affordable, and stylish in the luxury category. So what was that about German cars? Why pay an extra $15,000, just so I have the pleasure of paying for more tune-ups. It’s like Cost-co. Lemme pay you, so I can pay you……. riiiiight.
